Two post’s in one hour? I am spoiling you!

More weird bolts, this one is designed to shear it’s own head off.

0224image000

boringly it all went back together with out a hitch, started and ran fine, a nice little earner for me! (new boots? tax for the car? rsx big bore? how to decide..)

0224image001

Ted wanted to remove a piece of the lean-to’s wall, it all has to come down for new shed’s and lo and behold this thing!

0224image004

Some air in the tires, kick the brake caliper.

0224image007

Doesn’t look good does it?

0224image008

Would you believe it started? well it did! clutch was stuck and the carb full of crap, but yes it did run.

I like rat cars, but rat motorcycle never seem to have the same balls. so conversion into a stripped out skinny racer

Got some pipes that might do.

Literally dug these ace bars out from under the earth, be fine with a lick of paint.

lower tz350 fairing and honda rs125 upper, might skip the lower, we shall see

and a 28mm carb, just need something of substance to put it onto, i see some nice dt175 barrels out there on evilbay!

Been looking at 50cc racers and found some nice ideas for the way i want to go with the rxs, also Australian bucket racing is helpful.

BTW it is ‘the’ rxs100 beacuse this was my first bike, I rode it for at least 8years (seriously) can’t remember how many time’s i have torn it up think i may dig through the old photos and make a little history note for the old girl. nearly makes you stop before you chop haveing that much history with a bike, but then i remember i have crashed it 17 times, and stipped and rebuilt it over and over again so many time i genuinly think there is no original 93c4030 parts left on that bike in the pictures.

seriously you owned 93-c-4030? sorry im not going to sell it, after 8 odd years of the poor thing being my main transport, i’m welded to it. Did you crash it when it ended up in ross motorcycles? perhaps we could do a log book swap if that sort of thing doesn’t bother you.

Bought it off abs motorcycles in Blackpool well chopped a 100cc kart and a few quid to Noel Quinn for it in 1995 and rode it for 2 years or so. Then sold it privately. And bought a car. She was in excellent condition . Never crashed it tho often replaced h/ gasket and polished head an removed exhaust baffles and cleaned off all the build up for the littlest more power.excellent machine happy days..

  • Bryan o Halloran says:

  • TerraRoot says:
