Runner 180, kart airbox
Busa looking well!
rxs100 head badly modified to fit a rx135 barrel, may have a go at the rxs again soon.
oko pwk carb with filter on that doesn’t fit.
if the tyre was new…
test spin! nothing fell off anyway, didn’t open her up, needs more running in, the noise from that filter is unacceptable.
it rubbed, su-fuckin-prized?
think i’ll make it fit the bajaj.
So i’ve ordered a lamellar kart airbox from superkart.it, they had excellent dimensions. should be here in two weeks (back ordered)

Where did you manage to get an rx135 barrel from? I thought they were Asian market only. Regardless, I look forward to seeing how you get on with that. When I get my RXS back from the friend I’ve lent it to, it’s getting rebuilt as a learning experience and to fix all the little problems that have got worse in the last 5000 miles.
Got a whole rx135 engine (minus the head) even had the disc front brake too, which didn’t survive the various abuse i gave it as a teenager. I actually can’t remember who i got it off? it was a friend of a friend of my dads anyway, no idea how the hell it got to Ireland.
Join up to http://yammyhundred.freeforums.org/ theres a guy there who has found and fitted an asian market dt125 aircooled engine, proper 12v electrics and more power. The more i think about it the more sense it makes to do a 175 engine instead of pissing around with the 135, i only got it out to make a portmap for the forum guys.
I’d be worried about the handling with a 175 engine. Although I know you have a Suzuki front end on your bike and uprated shocks so probably wouldn’t have as much of a problem as I would with that kind of upgrade.
Personally my RXS is destined to be a RAT workhorse, it’s not something I want to spend a lot of money on and tbh keeping a bike running with whatever you can find cheap is great fun! I have been looking at your rearsets and low bars in envy though. I love the sport bike seating position and I imagine it would help with the fact I’m just too tall for the little bike. Just need to get my other half’s dad to lend me his welding gear to move the gear lever back now…
Frame upgrade would be in the works if it comes to that, but scaring yourself silly with only 17bhp is massive fun ;D my poor RXS was a rat for the long ten years it was my only working bike, it deserves nice thing thrown at it now.
