{"id":45,"date":"2008-09-16T13:47:06","date_gmt":"2008-09-16T21:47:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/terraroot.neoneoism.com\/?p=45"},"modified":"2008-09-16T13:53:02","modified_gmt":"2008-09-16T21:53:02","slug":"monday-9","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/terraroot.neoneoism.com\/?p=45","title":{"rendered":"Monday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Turned up all ready to tear into the trike and my dad sits me down..<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Son i think superchargers are for pussys, why not shove in an engine with four times the power?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/w3.bikepics.com\/pics\/2008%5C09%5C15%5Cbikepics-1418492-800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So we did. all thoughs of complete and utter uncontrolabilty were through out the window so fast you&#8217;d think i was a war scientest.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/w3.bikepics.com\/pics\/2008%5C09%5C15%5Cbikepics-1418486-800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>chain run looks good, and its compact and narrow.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/w3.bikepics.com\/pics\/2008%5C09%5C15%5Cbikepics-1418619-800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Whipped out the cd70 engine, note how many layers of metal are in that hole, six! goddamnit<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/w3.bikepics.com\/pics\/2008%5C09%5C15%5Cbikepics-1418630-800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is with the lower engine mount in the same place as the cd70 lower engine mount. chain run ain&#8217;t to bad. but the gearbox looks like it will run dry and the carb will leak too.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/w3.bikepics.com\/pics\/2008%5C09%5C15%5Cbikepics-1418629-800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is better, chain tensioner will be putting the tension on the inside of the chain now, and with the engine so far forward, there will be a big space for a oil bottle, maybe even a battery!.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/w3.bikepics.com\/pics\/2008%5C09%5C16%5Cbikepics-1419146-800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This arm was welded on. then some ejit put the tension bolt back in. wtf? why?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/w3.bikepics.com\/pics\/2008%5C09%5C16%5Cbikepics-1419144-800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/w3.bikepics.com\/pics\/2008%5C09%5C16%5Cbikepics-1419149-800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"1066\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Spare metal, as you can see it&#8217;s a bit bent.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/w3.bikepics.com\/pics\/2008%5C09%5C16%5Cbikepics-1419236-800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After cleaning up the rust the inner skin had some supports welded in, and the outer skins were welded together.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/w3.bikepics.com\/pics\/2008%5C09%5C16%5Cbikepics-1419408-800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/w3.bikepics.com\/pics\/2008%5C09%5C16%5Cbikepics-1419428-800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And thats the outer skins added in, big hole still in the middle, but it will have to wait until next week when i shall be tryin to figure out where to put the supercharger.
