{"id":2029,"date":"2011-06-30T17:24:33","date_gmt":"2011-06-30T16:24:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/terraroot.neoneoism.com\/?p=2029"},"modified":"2011-06-30T17:24:33","modified_gmt":"2011-06-30T16:24:33","slug":"moto2-challenge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/terraroot.neoneoism.com\/?p=2029","title":{"rendered":"Moto2 challenge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the sake of my portfolio, i&#8217;m gonna make a moto2 spec bike, only gonna spend the spare days at it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/terraroot.neoneoism.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/0630moto2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2028\" title=\"0630moto2\" src=\"https:\/\/terraroot.neoneoism.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/0630moto2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"566\" srcset=\"https:\/\/terraroot.neoneoism.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/0630moto2.jpg 800w, https:\/\/terraroot.neoneoism.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/0630moto2-300x212.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Of course i\u00c2\u00a0couldn&#8217;t\u00c2\u00a0get my hands on the actual moto2 book with the very handy model of the cbr600rr engine, so i just made do with some internet research for the engine. sorted the wheelbase the seat\u00c2\u00a0height\u00c2\u00a0and the tyres today, the seat is the\u00c2\u00a0wonkiest\u00c2\u00a0but the wheels are very nice carbon fibre. the actual chassis (the fun part!) i\u00c2\u00a0haven&#8217;t\u00c2\u00a0made up my mind yet, a hossack front end would the best of the\u00c2\u00a0conventional\u00c2\u00a0design (it still needs a frame) but a tesi\/veyron would lightest (sod all frame) however the veyron type need special wheels big bearing and would be a little difficult to squeeze the rad the exhaust and the shock in the same place.<\/p>\n<p>also i think that 190\/65 rear tyre might be a bit too tall, have to look into that, one site said it was 55, more\u00c2\u00a0research!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the sake of my portfolio, i&#8217;m gonna make a moto2 spec bike, only gonna spend the spare days at it.
